I am really about having fun, so Nana and I always make it a point to do something fun or try something new to spice up our relationship. Meeting Ryan and Jill has been a blessing (In my view). We’ve discovered that double dates are not that bad (I use to think it was cheesy). We’ve been on a few with our friends, and it always turn out to be a blast. We tend to be a bit more relaxed, and we usually have debates and arguments that none of us take personal. I realize that in the past when Nana and I argue on our dates, I always took it personal and most often than not come home upset about something she said defending her viewpoint. Based on the Chinese philosophy, Yin & Yang (Unity of opposites "two mutually correlated opposites"), I will argue that Nana & I make a good couple and so does Ryan & Jill. (At least from the little I know about them). We are able to take opposite sides without hurting anyone’s feelings, we talk about religion, politics, art, culture and the whole bit. Well the point I am driving at is that, double dates can be fun and a good thing for relationships. For example, I have picked up a few queues from my friends and implemented them in my relationship.
I have a few more things t write, but time is not on my side. Gotta go!
Go Double Date!!!!

How I feel this Tuesday morning.
I feel a bit down, I wish my girl was home to cheer me up. Hey, but if wishes were horses, guess who will be riding them? Fools! I have all these assignments due, but yet I don't feel like working on them. Thanks to my new friends Ryan & Jill (R&J), I am being distracted by this blog buz. It's not even noon yet, and I'm already stressed out. Well, looking at the bright side, I had a great weekend and a good Monday too actually. Nana and I spent time with R&J, then I took R&J to their 1st African party... they seemed fascinated with the Nigerian head gear. Well, we went back to their spot and I spent the night there. Luckily I was off on Sunday so I went home and helped Nana make breakfast. I slept most of the afternoon, and then went shooting (my first time) with Ryan at a range close to my house (the highlight of my day I should say), then to evening church service with Nana in the evening.

The Grind
It's been a hectic couple of weeks. I have not been able to keep intouch with family and friends like I will love to. I moved to a new spot around mid-June and managed to finished summer1 while doing my best at the modern day cotton field in this concrete jungle. Got a short break over the weekend though, but I am back at it all over again. God willing, December should be a great month for me. My head is still above water, and that's all that matters right now.
Praise be to the Almighty one!
